We spend every spare winter weekend driving up to the mountains, and the ornaments began as a way to keep that feeling in the house the rest of the year. The gondola was sketched on the back of a trail map on a slow ride up.
Each one is made in our studio when you order it, fitted together without glue, checked over by hand, and boxed with a card. That is why we ask for 1-3 business days before it ships.

Every ornament arrives assembled in a gift box with a card that carries the year. Add a message at checkout and it goes on the card. Made to be hung the first season and every one after. We never put prices in the box, so it can ship straight to the person it is for.

How big is it?
About 4 1/4 inches tall from the bottom of the cabin to the top of the ring, and 2 1/4 inches wide. The twine loop adds a couple of inches. It reads clearly from across the room without crowding a branch.
Is it fragile?
No. It is a solid piece, not glass, and it survives a drop onto a hardwood floor. The skis and snowboard are removable by design and press back on in a second. It is heat sensitive, though: keep it out of a hot car and away from heaters and direct sun, and it will last for years.
What is it made of?
A durable plant-based bioplastic, made in-house in our California studio and finished by hand, with a natural jute twine loop. It weighs about an ounce.
Can I personalise it?
Yes. Add a name, a year or a place, up to 14 letters, and we raise it in plain lettering on the back of the cabin in the same red. It adds $4 and no extra time. We do not reproduce logos or brand lettering. The year is written on the card in the box either way.
